Our class time together
will consist of 40 hours of instruction, correspondence and classroom, to prepare you to
take the Alaska State Real Estate examination. We will cover at a minimum: Real Estate Brokerage and Agency - 4 Hours The course will be 20 hours of
correspondence with an open book chapter test to be completed before the class portion and
20 hours in class. Each classroom hour of instruction will consist of 50 minutes of
classroom time. Students will be required to sign in at the beginning of the class and
sign out upon completion to receive credit for the class. If a student misses 15 minutes
of class time, no credit will be given for that module and it must be made up to graduate
per state regulations. Class times and dates will be on
the schedule. If your have an emergency and
cannot attend class, you will be required to inform the instructor as soon as possible. Missed classes may be made up
during the next scheduled
class. The testing schedule is as
follows: The tests are given throughout Alaska. To register for the test, call Pearson
Vue's Candidate Care Center at 1-800-274-5992, Monday through Friday from 4:00 a.m. to
7:00 p.m. Alaska time or 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday or 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on
Sunday. You must make an appointment 3 days or more prior to the Saturday testing date. Walk-in
testing is not available. The testing fee of $100.00 must be paid upon
registration for the exam. For more information see the pamphlet printed by the State of
Alaska Real Estate Candidate Handbook. Upon full payment of tuition you may receive the course manual early if you wish.
